Chief Service Officer
Michael Hjort is the Chief Service Officer for Trifuse Technologies. He has a proven history of advancing organizational strengths while accelerating transformation and innovation. Michael has worked extensively with Independent Agents throughout his Property Casualty career at Liberty Mutual/Safeco, Travelers and AIG.
Michael developed and implemented Safeco’s go-to-market distribution strategy after the Liberty Mutual acquisition. He has led agent centric departments including Capabilities and Programs, Relations, and Compensation. In addition, Michael has held senior leadership positions in Claims and Service. Prior to Trifuse, he was an executive at Premera Blue Cross leading the company’s continuous improvement and provider service organizations.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Willamette University and has continued his education at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Management and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Michael is active in the fight against cancer working with both the American Cancer Society and Cancer Pathways.
