Founder & Chief Design Officer
Steven began his career in Quality Assurance in the Durable Medical Equipment industry. He later assisted, then led organizational transformations under the tutelage of the late J. Guerin (Chevalier, Legion d’honneur) as a turnaround specialist of distressed firms.
After business school, Steven joined Liberty Mutual where he completed a two year executive training program giving him exposure to commercial and personal insurance as well as direct, captive, and independent distribution models. Upon completion of the program, he was asked to create a department of Research and Development “to solve our most complex problems”. This provided even greater insights of the challenges and capabilities facing the industry and how data can be used to solve those problems. He then led the redesign of the Knowledge Management system for the insurance industry at Capgemini, a global IT consulting firm.
Today, he enjoys incorporating his love for design with his expertise in data analysis as the Chief Design Officer at Trifuse Technologies.
Steven studied chemistry and history as an undergraduate at the University of Evansville. He subsequently studied mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and obtained an MBA at Georgetown University. He returned to his native home of Michigan to raise a family with his wife, Lana, on the shores of Lake Superior.
